This is a tuff one. A Sunday brunch for four. The food choices were abundant. Not all of the dishes were labeled, Nor were the ones that were always what they said. As with all buffets, the food was lukewarm. As one person in our party stated, "Everything is well done." Simply put, No pink in the roast beef here. Also, The pork loin in a balsamic reduction my first trip down the line was great. When the pan was emptied and more brought out, It was tough and lacked the wonderful thick sauce. The waffle station was a joke, But the bacon was very good as were the eggs.
All in all, We had fun and all agreed to do this again. Dad sure hopes they have a lobster bisque next time.

Less then impressed WAY below average! Had a special event thought Joseph's would be a safe bet, boy was I wrong. Table of 6 bill was 300+ food was below average service was sub par. Someone at our table was actually served sour milk with his dinner YUK!! An employee was upset with someone on the kitchen staff and left the restaurant shouting four letter words like a truck driver. If your going to have a fine dining atmosphere you better back it up with fine food and Joseph's didn't do that. I will never return!
Don't waste the money we have other choices in Des Moines. I wish them luck they will need it!!

I was not impressed with Josephs. And considering the prices, I expect to be wowed. Service came with an attitude, and the food was okay. I won't be back and wouldn't recommend it. Go to Sage instead.

Absolutely Fabulous! The restaurant was very beautiful. The service wasn't as good as Flemings but the food was better. Be prepare to pay $$$$. Party of 10 was $800 including tip. The dinner special was almost $80. I had the scallops. It was above average but not as good as the scallops that I had a CK's steakhouse.
