This bar is fantastic now that it has been remodeled. Before it was really dark and dive-barish. No it is open and clean. It's also smoke free. They have a lot of big screen tv's to watch, as well as pool tables, mini basketball, and shuffleboard. Food is pretty good too. This is a great alternative to Legends and Champps.
Build a time machine and go back to 2005; this place was a lot cooler then.
Not a bad place if you want to party on a Fri or Sat night. And the have free popcorn! How can you beat that?
Practice your bball skills, with the only Basketball Shot arcade games in downtown Des Moines. They have Ciroc vodka too :)
Get a pitcher of beer and enjoy a game downtown. The chicken tender salad is pretty good as well. Friday and Saturday will be packed, go earlier to get a table.

This is probably the worst bar to go to on the weekends in downtown Des Moines; terrible service, understaffed, over crowded.
