Okoboji Grill

I stopped on A Friday afternoon recently with my wife for a late lunch and a couple of cocktails. We waited quite awhile to be seated and waited some more for a waitperson. We ordered and waited 15 minutes more for our drinks. I was then told the bartender was missing, 10 minutes later, we got our drinks. Mine was wrong and the house ' white zin ' my wife had ordered was less than 3 oz and cost $ 5.50. The food was rather good but the service was terrible and so were their attutudes.

Good place in Ankeny, Drinks are cold. Service is good and the food is good. Not expensive, Friday night they usually have live music.

It's a standard Okoboji restaurant with regards to the menu. The booths seem smaller than typical, so it can be a tight squeeze. The service we've gotten has been mediocre, but Sunday's are kids eat free, which is nice.
