salad bar: lettuce served for salad is sandwich lettuce, not salad lettuce; croutons were very stale; noodle salad was lukewarm and not even room temperature...soup: the ham and bean soup had an OK flavor but was green. looked more like pea soup. ham was nonexistent...pesto noodle dish: the chicken in this buffet dish were cut in perfect squares, like they came out of a can. tasted like it also...bread and butter: DELICIOUS...pizza: so-so. the sauce isnt anything to rave about and i didnt like the way the cheese melted.

overall rating: LOTS to choose from but the quality of food is quite poor. definitely NOT worth the $22.15 spent for a lunch buffet for 2 people.

My favorite pizza in DM. Consistent crust and quality of toppings every time I eat there. Recently got hooked on the specialty pastas. Cajun pasta is awesome. A little inconvenient location but you should try it.

Unique "Crock Pizza" is a must try. I thought the prices were fair and the service was good. The atmosphere is a little strange, but no reason to avoid.

mmmm- They make some pretty good pizzas. Along the lines of CPK. My 2 problems w/ this place is that's it's set up poorly and it's a little overpriced. Price might be cause I've rarely seen it very busy, even on weekend nights. I'm sure the location doesn't help the situation. But, for good gourmet pizza- it's one of the best places I've found in Des Moines.
