The service is fantastic; however, if I'm paying 120 dollars for two with no wine the service is expected to be excellent. The food was not worth the money and Iowa Beef steakhouse would beat the food any day for about a third of the price.

My husband and I went here to celebrate our first anniversary. The staff was awesome and made a point to congratulate us on our milestone. The food was fabulous. We both ordered the fillet minion and it was by far the best beef I have ever tasted! To finish our meal the staff sent out a chocolate lava cake on them! I would highly recommend this place to anyone! Well worth the high prices!
Tip: Make reservations if you are visiting on a weekend!

My wife and I recently dined at the restaurant and found that although the pricing was high it was well worth it. This had to be the best place to go for our 1 year anniversary dinner. The staff were curtious and everybody was willing to check on our table (not just our waitress). After our meal we were treated to a desert on the house and we asked our waitress to choose for us and it was perfect! We will be returning to this restaurant again and again for special occastions.

The meal was above average but the service was slow. We weren't prepared for our meal to last over 3 hours. I had the mix grill (chicken, filet and salmon). The salmon was fabulous.

I have only eaten here once, but it was a great experience. First, they offer a HUGE selection of wine by the glass-which allows you to try many wines you may have shyed away from before since you wouldn't want to pay for the whole bottle. It also freed me to order my sweeter side wines while my husband ordered his more bold reds.
The steaks were divine and perfectly prepared. The service was professional and attentive. The sides we ordered and shared, which was the green beans and the spinich, were generous and wonderful.
Yes, it was pricey, but well worth the money. We will definately go there again!

This is a very good upscale steakhouse. It may not get a fair shake because of its location or its being a chain restraunt, but it deserves a look. Very classy and romantic setting. We had great service the minute we walked in. The prices are high, but I don't mind if the food is up to that standard. Here, it was worth it. We had the calamari as an appetizer and then shrimp and filet mignon as our entrees. All were excellent. The servings of the sides are large, and intended to be shared. This has to be one of the top upscale restraunts in the greater Des Moines area.
