These all sound great. Thanks for the tips. We go to DSM often and I will try these places.One of my faovirte spots in DSM is Chicago Speakeasy. Their salad bar looks small but is really loaded with great stuff. Small containers, changed and freshened often, great dressing, good staff. Their specials are always good.
The Best Juice Bar in Des Moines, I tried the daily special, WOW! very delicious, and tropical! and it was hot that day, so VERY refreshing. the owner places reading materials on all of the tables, and the place is spotless! plenty of parking, and the outdoor patio is beautiful! they have wheat grass shots, I stop in there every now and then, always friendly service! close to roosevelt.
