I visited Tally's the first time this Tuesday and had such a pleasant experience.

Perfect amount of service. Yummy martinis and appetizers. Nice, modern atmosphere. And a pretty fair amount of vegetarian meals. I had a delicious vegetable de burgo. The only complaint is not against this establishment, but against the lack of parking in the Beaverdale area.

This was my second trip to Tally's and I liked it better!

I met with some coworkers on the rooftop patio. Love! We don't have nearly enough of these in the Des Moines Metro.

Today I ate the fish taco with a side of fries for $6.50, which I consider a steal! For just a few dollars more you can add another taco, but the one was plenty.

The taco was made with flash-fried tilapia, slaw, and a fish taco sauce that had a bite to it. The fries were above average, crunchy and seasoned.

The service was the best they could do at the time... one server working the rooftop bar and entire rooftop patio, taking orders and serving drinks.

If the sun is shining and the beers are cold you will find me here again!
