Park Avenue Pub

Went here for the first time today. Food was pretty good, beer was pretty good. It was really, really dark in there, but thats probably my only complaint. One thing to note is make sure and bring cash, they will take plastic but you have to spend at least $20. All in all, its a pretty good place to hang out and kill some time.

absolutley the flattest and warmest draw beer in town!!! kegs might as well be kept outside in the summer. if you want head on your beer, go to another bar. this place sucks!! Bartenders are more interested in make ind testing their own shots with their friends, than waiting on customers. You will get a dirty look if you interupt them. Especially, Dave and Mark.

They have the best Italian Sausage Sandwiches in Des Moines! It's usually quiet and dark. You can play Pool, Darts, or Video Games, and they have one big screen tv, with two other small tvs that are strategically placed for viewing. A great place to watch a game, have a drink, or grab some grub!
