Excellent Food!!!

I have become a big fan of this place - great taste, great value, personable service, variety of offerings.

The location is not very big, but it is quite nice: clean and neat. The menu is a combination of Thai/Lao dishes - this variety makes it a more interesting option than other restaurants that usually offer only one cuisine.

The service is quite good - most of the time it's quick and even personable. The owner (or one of them?) usually takes orders and can be counted on to have detailed answers to questions about the menu or recommendations.

The food itself is quite good - I have tried several Lao dishes, pho, Thai noodle dishes, and they were all very tasty. Their sticky rice is the best I tried in DSM. Ultimately their food is the biggest reason I have been coming back over and over again. It is also a great value.

Put this all together and this is now my favorite Asian restaurant in Des Moines area.
