I've only ever been for the horse racing, which I found to be a great answer to the re-occuring "what are we going to do for fun tonight?" question. It's a great solution on a nice evening - try your hand at betting on the horses and enjoy the weather and drinks. Definately more fun when you're winning, too. (-; Especially good activity when my parents come to town... for families too, maybe - seems to be a lot of kids out there.
